Royal Palm Pointe – City of Vero Beach
The Royal Palm Pointe project was a unique project, designed to revitalize the eastern most remaining section of Royal Palm Blvd. At one time the road crossed the Indian River but was removed as a part of the new Merrill Barber Bridge Construction Project. The revitalization project consisted of the following components:
- Extensive drainage and utility improvements
- Complete reconstruction of the existing two-way roadway into a divided two lane section with beautiful landscape and large, island parking, strategically scattered.
- Brick paver roadway enhancements
- Boat dock with a large viewing platform for visitors
- A large fountain for public bathing complete with decorative tile and stone benches. A public restroom and changing area accommodates the fountain.
The entire project was a huge success for the owner, the community, the businesses and for Dickerson Florida, Inc.
