Community Commitment
Dickerson is proud to be an integral part of the Treasure Coast community in Florida. Our mission extends well beyond our business interests. We invest time, money and products in our community. We always have, and we always will. After all, this is our home.
As Florida grows, so does the need for new roads and bridges, which demand high quality materials. Dickerson plays an important role in providing and keeping much-needed rock and asphalt in our local region.
We’re also committed to supporting our community in other ways. Dickerson supports local organizations through regular donations of services and materials. Some of the projects we have had the privilege to support include the St. Lucie County Fairgrounds and the St. Lucie County YMCA.
The material we mine is locally sourced and goes to local communities in Florida. This means that local residents have the benefit of driving on roads and bridges made of asphalt and rock from Florida, many of which were constructed by Dickerson Florida, Inc.

Without business partners like Dickerson, we would not be able to help the community to the degree that we do.”

St. Lucie County depends on support from local business owners for their annual employee appreciation picnic. Dickerson knows how important it is to honor employees for their hard work, so they have actively supported this event.
“Dickerson has provided continuous financial support of our Annual Employee Appreciation Day Picnic and our Employee Night at Tradition Field with the St. Lucie Mets. St. Lucie County is among the top 20 fastest growing communities in the United States and is the third fastest growing community in Florida. These events are extremely important for us to show our gratitude to the employees each year.
