About Us

The Dickerson Group has been a part of the Florida community since the 1950s, which began with Dickerson constructing many portions of the Florida Turnpike. Since that time, we have been involved in numerous projects with the Turnpike Authority throughout the state. We have also constructed many sections of SR 9 (I-95) from St. Johns County through Palm Beach County.

Airport construction has always been a part of our job mix, and we have completed a long list of airport taxiway and runway projects over the years, for many of the local airports.

We have completed scores of projects for the local city and county municipalities over the years and we have enjoyed being a part of building better communities. It is difficult to find any public roadway, especially along the Treasure Coast, with which Dickerson has not been involved.

We are fortunate to have enjoyed a very long relationship with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), even back when it was known as the “Florida Road Department.” We have been engaged in projects for the FDOT from Jacksonville all the way down to Key West.

When our mining operations are completed, we take great pride in our reclamation. Our mining sites become beautiful, scenic landscapes that sustain diverse species of plants and wildlife and provide recreational opportunities for the community.
